Tauernradweg, the 270-kilometre-long scenic trail in Hohe Tauern National Park, shows you the most exciting views and sights and gives access to restaurants which serve delicious local specialties. A fantastic trail running through a predominantly level terrain is the Mozart Bike Path. It starts in Salzburg, Mozart’s birthplace, and continues through spectacular countryside to Bavaria where it continues along Lake Chiemsee and back to Salzburg.

The highest waterfall in Austria, Krimml Waterfalls, is 380 metres high and is located in the Salzachtal Valley. To experience the feeling of historical mysteries, visitors go to Festung Hohesalzburg, the largest mediaeval castle in Europe, and the enchanting Hohe Stock and Mirabel palaces in Salzburg.
